Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of this website and set out the basis on which we provide estimates and tree care work.

Using this website

By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; the version published here's the one that applies.

Information on this site

The content on this site is provided for general information. Tree care is highly property-specific, and nothing on this site is a substitute for an assessment of your actual tree and property. Cost figures shown anywhere on this site are general planning ranges, not quotes, and are not an offer to perform work at those prices.

Estimates

  • Estimates are free and carry no obligation on either side.
  • An estimate is based on the information available at the time it is given, including what you tell us and what's visible on inspection.
  • Conditions that could not reasonably be identified beforehand, such as internal decay, hidden utilities, unexpected access restrictions, or changed ground conditions, may change the scope or the price. Where that happens we'll tell you before continuing.
  • An estimate does not become a contract until the scope and price are agreed between us.

Your responsibilities

To let us carry out the work safely, you agree that:

  • You own the property, or you have the authority of the owner to authorize the work.
  • You'll tell us about anything on the property we could not reasonably know about: irrigation lines, septic systems, private utility runs, buried cables, retaining structures, weak driveway sections, and similar.
  • Where work requires access across, or will drop debris onto, a neighboring property, you've arranged that with the neighbor.
  • You'll keep people, pets and vehicles clear of the work area while the crew is working.
  • You'll tell us about any permission, permit, HOA approval or similar consent that applies to your property before work begins.

Work, access and site conditions

Tree work involves heavy equipment. Even where reasonable care is taken, ground disturbance such as tyre marks, lawn compaction or minor rutting can occur, particularly on soft or saturated ground. We'll discuss access routes with you beforehand where this is likely to be a concern.

Weather, ground conditions, equipment availability and safety judgment on the day may require work to be rescheduled. We'll keep you informed if that happens.

Cleanup

The cleanup included in your job is whatever is agreed in your estimate. Items such as stump grindings, firewood rounds, or debris on adjoining land are only included if the estimate says so.

Payment

Payment terms are as stated in your estimate or invoice. Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due on completion of the work.

Cancellation

Let us know as early as you can if you need to cancel or reschedule. Where we've already incurred costs for equipment, permits or specialist access arranged specifically for your job, those costs may be payable.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that can't lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any job is limited to the amount paid for that job. We're not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Intellectual property

The content, layout and design of this site belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of that state.
