Careers

We're a small crew doing tree work across the Salt Lake Valley. If you're experienced in tree care, or serious about learning it properly, we should talk.

The kind of work

Most of our work is residential: planned removals, stump grinding, storm cleanup, and trimming and pruning on properties across Salt Lake City, South Salt Lake, West Valley City, Taylorsville, and Murray. A lot of it is close-quarters work: mature trees near houses, fences, driveways and utility drops, with limited room to drop anything freely.

That means the work is as much about planning as it is about cutting. Rigging, drop zones and the order of operations get worked out before anyone starts.

What we look for

  • Judgment. Knowing when a cut is a bad idea matters more than being fast.
  • Care for the property. The lawn, the fence and the flower beds belong to someone. Crews who treat it that way are the ones we keep.
  • Reliability. Small crews can't absorb people who don't show up.
  • Willingness to learn. If you're newer to tree work but you show up, listen and work hard, that counts for a lot with us.

Roles we talk to people about

  • Climbers and operators. Experienced in removals and rigging in tight residential settings.
  • Ground crew. Rigging support, cutting down, chipping, and site cleanup. This is the usual entry point into the trade.
  • Equipment operators. Stump grinding and hauling.

How to get in touch

We don't always have a posting up, but we would rather hear from good people early than go looking when we're short-handed. Email [email protected] with a short note about your experience and what you're looking for, or call 385-354-6046.

Tell us what you've actually done: the type of trees, the type of properties, and what equipment you've run. That's more useful to us than a formatted resume.
